The seven refuges that make up the Savannah Coastal Refuges Complex are (from north to south):

Pinckney Island NWR (4,053 acres)

 

Savannah NWR (~29,000 acres)

Tybee NWR (100 acres)

 

Wassaw NWR (10,053 acres)

 

 

 

 

Harris Neck NWR (2824 acres)

 

Blackbeard Island NWR (5618 acres)

Wolf Island NWR (5126 acres)

These refuges span 100 miles from Pinckney Island to Wolf Island and total more than 56,000 acres.

Four of the refuges are accessible only by boat.  This and the large distances involved make managing this complex quite a challenge for the USFWS staff.
